Our Mission

Supporting emerging and established Black-owned businesses by increasing the amount of time the Black dollar stays in the Black community.

Listing Requirements

MelaninPreneurs™ business listings must be at least 51% Black-owned and are selected based on their product/service offerings, packaging, current online ratings, social media followers, website design, and years-in-business.

All submissions go through an approval process. Currently this process takes up to 3-business days. We will contact you ONLY if your business is approved.

 

DO…

Provide at least three images that represent your business.

Include your company logo.

Include a description about your business, not yourself.

Include as much information about your business to increase the chances of your listing being approved.

DON’T…

Use promotions or advertising as your images. Your listing will NOT be approved. You may use these types of images in the “Deals-Offers-Discounts” section of your account (available on paid listing only).

Include nude or offensive images.

Submit a business if you are not the owner

Use social media accounts for your website link. Your website link MUST link to your website.

Frequently Asked Questions

This depends on how many request we have. Generally listing submissions take up to 5-business days to process. If we have any questions about your listing, we will contact you. If you have not heard from us within 7-business days, please feel free to contact us.

If you did not list your business with MelaninPreneurs™, you were most likely referred by a client, one of our team members has experienced your product/service, or we discovered your business online.

To claim your listing, please go to your listing page. On the right hand side of the page click “Claim Now.”

If you no longer wish to have your business listed, please contact us and include “Remove Listing” in the subject box and we will remove your listing within 7-business days.
